Details on this Course :
Day 1 | Arrival in Kathmandu
You will be received at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu by our representative. Transfer to centre, briefing about the program, Overnight stay in the centre with dinner.
Day 2 | City tour : Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, Patan
Wake up in the morning, have a tea, nasal cleansing then morning yoga class at the centre. You will have breakfast after yoga class around 10 am. Then we will take you popular world heritage sites.
We have chosen a traditional town for your sight seeing. Be prepared to be amazed by the living style of Newars in Bhaktapur, almost untouched by Modern practices. Bhaktapur is known as the 'Living Heritage', 'City of Devotees', the 'City of Culture', and 'Nepal's Cultural Gem'. It is one of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, most terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, open courtyards.
You will have traditional Newari lunch during the day.
Next destination will be Patan, the third largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu & Pokhara. Almost everyone who comes to Kathmandu visits Patan for spectacular Durbar Square which is the finest collection of temples and palaces.
In the evening, we go to Pashupatinaath temple, famous and sacred Hindu temple complex. The temple serves as the seat of Pashupatinath, built in 5th century. You will be merged with the evening Shiva Aarati (evening prayer) which brings truely a spiritual joy. Then come to the centre, have dinner then trataka meditation practice and then to the bed.
Day 3 | Travel to Chisapani
You will wake up in the morning with a tea & join the yoga class. Afterward, you have breakfast then we drive to Chisapani (meaning cold water). Chisapani is located at an altitude of 2500m. It offers panoramic view of the stunning, unending and seamless view of Himalayas as Jugal Himal, Ganesh Himal & Langtang region.
There is also an excellent short hiking route which is renowned among hikers. So if you are interested, we can also hike to Chisapani for 5 hours.
Day 4 | Travel to Pokhara
Get up in the morning, have tea and nassal cleansing then morning yoga class. You will get breakfast after yoga class then we drive to Pokhara in a luxuries bus.
Driving on a narrow highway passing settlements, local markets, green mountains, rivers and beautiful landscapes.
Pokhara is one of the most 'visit places' in Nepal. it's a city on Lake Phewa, in central Nepal which is known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit trek, a most popular trail in the Himalayas. And... Lakeside in Pokhara is the perfect place to recharge your batteries.
You will be setteled in one of the popular hotels in Lakeside. We may go to explore Lakeside and Lake in the evening depending on your interest. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 5 | Drive to Ulleri then hike to Ghorepani
After morning tea, drive to Ulleri (2070m) from Pokhara. This will be offroad driving for about 3 hours and it's bumpy sometimes. You will surely enjoy this short drive. We will have breakfast in Ulleri & some rest. Then we start hike up to Ghorepani which may take around 4-5 hours of up and down hill walking.
The trail climbs gently through the cultivated fields, rhododendron and oak forests then stop at Nangethanti for lunch and short rest. After lunch we start walking towards Ghorepani through beautiful forest. We do yoga in Ghorepani in the evening then dinner. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 6 | Sunrise View at Poonhill
Early morning climb 1 hour up to viewpoint station in Poonhill for Sunrise view over the tall Himalayas.
Poon Hill is the best viewpoint in lower elevation in the Annapurna region and also best for sunrise and sunset. It offers you unbelievable stunning views. Then walk back down to Ghorepani and have breakfast.
After breakfast, trek to Tadapani (meaning far water supply in this village from long distance). The trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali. Then descend to reach Banthanti and reach Tadapani, do yoga in the evening. This hike may take around 5 hours. Overnight in hotel in Tadapani.
Day 7 | Tadapani - Ghandruk (2000m) - Pokhara
Wake up in the morning, have tea and practice yoga in front of high Himalayas. After yoga class, we have breakfast. Then our trek continues towards Ghandruk. After walking around 4 hours we reach Ghandruk, Gurung village which is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which provides Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close-up views of Annapurna South and Fishtail Himalayas. We will have lunch in Ghandruk then drive back to Pokhara. Overnight stay in hotel in Pokhara.
Day 8 | Pokhara - Kathmandu
You will start the day with yoga lesson and practice of breathing exercises with Instructor Shreesh. After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu. We have traditional lunch in the way in afternoon. You can join for the evening yoga class then dinner, candle light meditation and bed time.
Day 9 | Departure
Wake up in the morning, have tea, join morning yoga class. After breakfast you can leave for your real home or to your next destination.
